Graveyard Keeper 2 Days of the Week Guide
Plan the six-day calendar around Wrath sermons, Envy resurrection power and Sloth town battles without mixing in weekday names from the first game.
The six-day cycle
The clock uses six sin-themed day icons: Pride, Lust, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath and Sloth. A full cycle is one in-game week. Community footage consistently confirms the important activity gates below; names such as “Sunday,” “Monday” or the first game's old NPC shorthand are only player mnemonics.
| Day | Confirmed planning use in community footage | Prepare beforehand | | --- | --- | --- | | Wrath | Hold the weekly church sermon | Prayer, Town Gratitude and church quality | | Envy | Power the Resurrection Table during the storm | Prepared corpse, zombie collar and Reanimation Liquid | | Sloth | Start eligible battles for town districts | Active squad, equipment and fortifications | | Pride, Lust, Gluttony | NPC and quest schedules vary | Pin the quest and check its current icon |
The last row is deliberately conservative: the source videos do not establish one universal activity for every remaining day, and schedules can change with quest progress.
Wrath day: sermon day
The church ceremony is a once-per-cycle opportunity to turn sermon inputs into Faith and money. Prepare before the icon arrives rather than discovering that a prayer, Gratitude or church setup is missing at the lectern. See the sermons guide for the current checklist.
Update 1.009 fixes a case where the sermon ended incorrectly. The official roadmap also says a future update will increase sermon Faith, but that planned balance change is not included in the 1.009 changelog.
Envy day: resurrection power
The storm on Envy day powers the resurrection equipment. Prepare bodies in advance so the limited window is spent activating tables, not looking for a collar or liquid. The full material and body checks are in how to raise zombies.
Sloth day: town battles
Eligible town battles open on Sloth day. Later progression can present more than one battle, so arrive with squads assigned and replacement fortifications already crafted. Fast travel cannot be used during battle as of Update 1.008.
A practical weekly rhythm
- After a sermon, start rebuilding Town Gratitude and reserve the next prayer.
- Prepare resurrection tables before Envy day.
- Craft battle supplies and equip squads before Sloth day.
- Use the remaining days for quests, production and NPC visits shown by the active objective.
This approach treats the calendar as a preparation loop, not a list of appointments to memorize. If you miss a gated action, continue productive work and return when its icon completes the six-day cycle.
