Graveyard Keeper 2 Polished Bronze — How to Make It
Polished Bronze sits beyond the demo's progression cap, while Bronze Detail is a Wooden Anvil craft that needs an overlapping bucket station.
First, check which item you actually need
Polished Bronze and Bronze Detail are different materials with different blockers, and a quest or repair request that names one will not accept the other just because both contain "bronze". Read the exact item name before touching a workstation.
- Polished Bronze — community answers consistently report its technology sits outside the demo's progression boundary. A missing recipe in the demo is a content cap, not a broken save.
- Bronze Detail — a real craft players have completed, described below.
Making Bronze Detail (community-tested)
Player reports describe a two-station setup rather than a recipe at the bucket itself:
- Unlock and build the Wooden Anvil.
- Build the support station nearby — called a Hardening Bucket or Quenching Bucket depending on the report (check the wording in your own build and language).
- Place the bucket close enough that its working area overlaps the Wooden Anvil.
- Open the Wooden Anvil's recipe list and look for Bronze Detail.
The recipe shows up at the anvil, not at the bucket — the bucket just has to be inside range.
Still blocked? Work this checklist
- Re-read the requested item: Polished Bronze or Bronze Detail?
- If it's the demo and the item is Polished Bronze, you've hit a progression boundary, not a placement puzzle.
- For Bronze Detail, confirm you're opening the Wooden Anvil, not the bucket.
- Nudge the support bucket until its area overlaps the anvil, then reopen the recipe menu.
- In the full game, verify the relevant technology is actually unlocked — reports of missing Polished Bronze point to a later node, not a hidden early recipe.
- Save, return to the title screen and reload after changing station placement to rule out stale state.
Does the demo save transfer help?
Yes, eventually. The developer confirms demo progress carries into the full game — but transfer preserves progress, it doesn't unlock content inside the demo. Once the full build is available on your platform, load the transferred save and inspect the expanded technology tree before spending resources.
What remains unverified
In the release build, the final Polished Bronze recipe, exact ingredient counts, the precise technology node and its cost all still need in-game confirmation. This page won't turn forum guesses into a fake official recipe — check back as the launch build is verified. In the meantime, the Faith guide and zombie worker guide cover the progression lines most players hit next.
